A nationally recognized vascular surgeon, Dr. Carroccio obtained his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his residency in surgery, as well as research and clinical fellowships in vascular surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He joined the faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine with appointments in the Departments of Surgery and Radiology.
After joining The Lenox Hill Hospital in 2008, he established its vascular surgery residency program and serves as Chief of Vascular Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital.
He has authored numerous articles for scholarly and professional publications, written book chapters, and delivered presentations to professional audiences worldwide.
He has participated in various trials investigating the minimally invasive treatment of complex aortic and other vascular diseases. He is the recipient of numerous academic and professional honors.
